Wild Salmon SUSTAINABILITY in BC and around the world

Sustainability of BC wild salmon encompasses two issues;

One pertains to the health of wild salmon stocks along the BC coast and our rivers, and the other concerns the future of the industry and the vitality of independent BC Fishermen.

Our goal is to educate and debunk myths about wild BC salmon, and correct misinformation distributed by companies and organizations that have differing agendas, some that harm the reputation and business of those who responsibly promote and protect BC's wild salmon stocks and fisheries.

Our strategy is to reach out locally, and around the world to foster relationships with individuals, companies, and organizations that support the health and viability of wild salmon stocks, and in doing so create a Social Media community that will ensure BC fisheries remain strong, vital, and sustainable.

Sustainability is a controversial subject. When it is handled improperly it evokes feelings of negativity. Today however, people demand transparency, which means we all have to address issues truthfully.

It is sometimes difficult to always tell the truth because it can occasionally have a detrimental effect on competitive advantage. Truth however, is a big part of doing business today, and not something anyone can afford to ignore if they are truly concerned about the health of the earth's wild salmon species.

Whether you are a private or public company, an organization, a politician, or a consumer, we want to hear what you think, and we also want you to participate in the conversations we begin here . . .
