Wild BC salmon is naturally nutritious! While the levels of nutritional goodness vary from species to species, all wild BC salmon is noted to be high in useable protein, low in saturated fat and cholesterol, and a good source of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids which provides numerous healthy benefits. Plus, a 100 g (3 oz) serving of canned salmon (including bones) contains almost as much calcium as a glass of milk.
